We are looking for a Technical Manager to manage a team of technicians to install, maintain, examine, repair and monitor all electrical / electronic aspects of the Site Logistic and Automation systems, Warehouse and offices in a safe and timely manner with due regard to people, materials and equipment in accordance with current legislation, Electricity at Work regulations (IEE 18th edition) HASAWA, COSHH, PUWER, GDP.

A Day in the Life of…:

  • You will be responsible for the day to day functioning of the facilities and equipment whilst managing the facilities team.
  • You will administer and control BMS, Coswin and any other site related engineering systems.
  • You will ensure that the MFC (Material Flow Control) plant and building are maintained efficiently and effectively, quickly solving any issues that arise.
  • You will implement, monitor and manage all aspects of electrical and mechanical work on site.
  • You will ensure that everything complies with current legislation.
  • You will ensure routine maintenance schedules are adhered to, covering MFC and Services equipment.
  • You will ensure Safe Working Procedures (SWP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are in place and adhered to.
  • You will have due regard for HASAWA and Electricity at Work Regulations and recommend remedial actions if necessary.
  • You will add data into Coswin database quickly and accurately.
  • You will order stock to maintain adequate spare parts.

  • Able to manage a fully functional team who are able to adapt to any future business?
  • A strong team builder who is keen to develop yourself and others?
  • Computer literate with strong negotiation skills?

Do you have…:

  • Sound knowledge of The Electricity at Work regulations, HASAWA & PUWER?
  • A qualification for the 18th Edition course?
  • Multiple years’ experience in electrical and electronic on site related work?
  • Previous experience in a management role?
  • Multiple years’ experience of working in a PLC environment?
  • A Recognised Health and Safety Qualification such as IOSH?
