The Technical Project Manager will be a member of the R&D engineering team working in the development and support of MITG respiratory and patient monitoring products. Project Managers are expected to work with other cross-functional members of the engineering staff to manage project activities, weekly meeting and have in-depth technical knowledge of the company released products. The Technical Product Manager will work with various department function leads and system engineers in establishing support to released products, managing CAPA's, field issues and non-project activities.

Essential Functions:

  • You will participate as a member of project or sub-project team(s) in leading RPE (Released Product Engineering) Projects and Product Support activities.
  • You will work with project core team members including Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Marketing to ensure projects and activities are executed according to Medtronic process.
  • You will manage the weekly meeting of RPE Product Support – Non-Project activities.
  • You will lead projects from initiation to completion according to the CDP (change development project) process.
  • You will perform high-level testing for released products as part of the Product Support activities.
  • You will work with the various groups to lead aspects of released products, including design reviews, CAPA meetings and production/service weekly meetings.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring projects are following the process in terms of timeline, budget, scope and risks.


Must Have: 

Education: B.Sc. Electrical Engineering


  • 2 years Project Management experience in industry.
  • 2 years Hands-on experience as a Multidisciplinary R&D Engineer.
  • Medical Devices experience preferred.
  • Able to work, influence and lead in a highly cross functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with FDA Quality Systems Regulations (QSR) preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
  • Able to collaborate across technical and non-technical disciplines. Good team player.
