The Job

The Project Manager position is part of the Comparator Client Services Team. As a Project Manager, you play a valuable role in independently managing clients as per the job responsibilities. Key to success in this role is the ability to independently interact with the client and guide them in their sourcing strategy. With the assistance of Sourcing Specialists & supply chain coordination team members, you ensure that the services are delivered on time and to customer's and Fisher's quality standards.

You act as primary point of contact for clients, from first customer request, advising on appropriate sourcing strategy, providing timely and accurate communication and information for all relevant activities related to comparator projects, both internal and external. This is in order to ensure that the products are ready for the start of the clinical trial study or as required by the customer.

As a project manager, you also support the comparator team in your expertise of the job responsibilities through 1) acting as guide during other’s orientation and 2) identifying and participate to resolution of areas of waste within current processes.

What will you do?

  • Engage with customer or internal requestor at time of request to understand project scope and constraints. Capture those elements in internal systems, organize internal kick off meeting (if applicable), and ensure proper handover to Sourcing team.
  • Evaluate the alternatives provided by sourcing team, select the suitable solution (using also benchmark with official databases, liaison with customer as needed,) and prepare quote for customer.
  • Follow up closely with internal requestor or customer until final decision is made and update internal databases as per requirement.
  • Prepare/Collect documentation to enable handover of confirmed project to Supply chain team. Follow up internally with Supply Chain team and QA team to ensure proper update to customer regarding project advancement and completion
  • Timely preparation of reports and other information to customers is also required.
  • Participation Customer and Suppliers meetings (QBR and likes)
  • Active preparation of these meetings, inclusive generation of KPI and power point presentation on the key relevant points to discuss and report upon
  • Deputy function for other Project Managers on ad hoc basis
  • Ensure knowledge of TMO, BSD, FCS, customer and Suppliers T&C, policies and likes

  • Is able to orientate sourcing strategy and to combine available information (competition, sources …) to position an offer with best solution under supervision

  • Robust Organizational Skill Set
  • Strong team player comfortable in escalating support from management to solve conflicting situations
  • Proficiencies with MS Office / Adobe Products,
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and exercises good judgment and appropriate discretion when reaching conclusions
  • Able and willing to travel approximately 10%
  • Fluent in English, other languages a plus
  • Good level of advanced education (bachelor’s degree) or commercial education and experience in a similar role
  • Multi-tasker, detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. Other languages are a plus
  • Excellent organizational and customer relationship skills. Able to prioritize. Ability to work independently within an international matrix organization
  • Knowledge in the area of Clinical trials and pharmaceuticals logistics is a plus
