Job Description

We are currently searching for a Director/QP-PV to Head our UK & Ireland Pharmacovigilance team, based in our office in Harlow. With our office right by Harlow town station, we've got great transport links into London and beyond, and there's free parking on site - a definite bonus! Plus we’ve got great facilities here for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • The local Pharmacovigilance qualified person for Teva UK (all legal entities) and Ireland (all legal entities)
  • To act as an ambassador for Pharmacovigilance for Teva UK & Ireland both within and outside the Organisation; liaise with EU-Pharmacovigilance and Global Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance and local leadership to ensure patient safety and drive success of the UK & Ireland Pharmacovigilance team
  • To provide and manage advice, support and training in all aspects of Pharmacovigilance as required. Ongoing strengthening and engagement of local PhV interfaces to ensure compliance and alignment to Global/EU policies and procedures and in accordance with local legal requirements.
  • Lead and develop the Pharmacovigilance team personnel in accordance with UK/IE cluster and Organisational business goals and objectives, timelines and allocated budget.
  • Manage the UK & Ireland Pharmacovigilance team to ensure compliance to all relevant UK, Ireland, European and international safety reporting regulations, as applicable
  • Manage the cooperation with Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Quality, Commercial business and other stakeholders to ensure responsibilities for the MAH are fulfilled
  • Manage to ensure that all required and appropriate Pharmacovigilance Agreements are in place and maintained with third party companies and contracted service providers, including (but not limited to): market research providers, clinical research organisations, homecare delivery companies, agency nurses, social/digital media providers


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience
  • MSc/PhD in Life Sciences
  • Healthcare professional desirable


Knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Pharmacovigilance, compliance and safety regulations.
