Our clinical operations activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Clinical Operations Line Manager to join our Clinical Operations team. This position will work on a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Responsibilities

  • Line management of Support and Individual Contributor-level associates (e.g., Assistant, Coordinator, Specialist) within a specified department in a specified country/region(s);
  • Recruitment, training, development and resource allocation of associates in country/region(s);
  • Assist project-level Managers with achieving project objectives by establishing performance standards and monitoring for consistency and compliance;
  • Serve as a point of issue escalation for project teams related to individual associate performance; and
  • Support in the development of departmental communications, training, and processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years' experience as Coordinator / Specialist in the CRO-based department in which the position is assigned;
  • Advanced knowledge of International Conference on Harmonisation/Good Clinical Practice, and Medpace Standard Operating Procedures;
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and resolve problems effectively;
  • Generate and conduct effective training programs;
  • Provide constructive feedback on training performance and competency;
  • Monitor direct reports overall capacity and performance;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills; and
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft® Office Software.
